We live in Greenville, SC having recently moved here (June 2010) after living in Austin, TX for almost 30 years. You can read more about Greenville's designation as a Top 10 city for 2011 in RelocateAmerica. US Airways Magazine profiled the city. AARP the Magazine named Greenville the #2 city in its Top 10 Best Places to Live the Simple Life and CNBC picked Greenville as #6 in its America's Top Places For Boomers To Retire ratings. Fortune magazine has named Greenville one of its 5 Great Places to Retire. Greenville's beautiful Falls Park was recently recognized as one of America's top city parks by US Airways Magazine. We both retired from . We are both originally from the Pittsburgh area. John was born in the city but grew up in Wexford, a suburb north of Pittsburgh. Jane is from Washington, PA which is south of Pittsburgh. We met while working at IBM in Austin.

In 2010 we purchased a new (to us) home on Newfort Place in the Bell's Grant subdivision in Greenville, SC. We are looking forward to new adventures in the Carolinas.
